Hello readers! My name is Ashley. I’m a writer/reviewer/reader from the Wisconsin current based in South Korea.
I started this blog to write about my life and ended up recapping all the books I’ve read, loved, and obsessed over. (And maybe some that were just okay.)
Obsessed with all things fantasy, sci-fi, and pretty much anything with a sticky sweet romance. Reviews tend to be emotionally driven with too many exclamation points and and an abundance of squealing.
Affinity for lyrical prose that is toeing the line of being verbose. Metaphors and personification are much appreciated and held in high regard.
Speculative fiction that critiques our modern world is what I live for (A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, Down Among the Sticks and Bones, etc)
